Arts & Crafts Company was founded in 2005. We specialize in Robert "Mouseman" Thompson (1876 - 1955), his apprentices and associated Yorkshire furniture craftsmen, collectivley known as the "Yorkshire Critters". Arts and Crafts Company's artisan furniture inventory is displayed with 20th Century Modern Art at our private showroom in Wiltshire by appointment only.
Arts & Crafts Company source vintage Mouseman craftsman oak furniture and works of art on behalf of fine art institutions, private collectors, corporate investors and the interior design trade.
Arts and Crafts Company's inventory includes artisans that have commissions in Windsor Castle, York Minster and Westminster Palace in the United Kingdom of Great Britain.

Since 1992 Stephen Sheppard has been associated with Antiques & Fine Art as MD Greystones Gallery, New Business Manager The Auction Channel, Saleroom and Internet Business Manager at The Cotswold Auction Company, MD Arts and Crafts Company and founding Chairman of the Lechlade Antique Dealers Association (40+ independent members) and Deputy Mayor of Lechlade on Thames, Gloucestershire (pop 2500).
Stephen Sheppard in 2008 was engaged as Saleroom & Internet Business Manager for The Cotswold Auction Company based in Cheltenham UK. Stephen assumed responsibility for the Cirencester, Gloucester and Cheltenham Fine Art & Antiques Salerooms, including the Live Internet Bidding platform and Bidmaster Auction Information Technology. Acheivements include introducing works of art to The British Museum, London UK and private collections worldwide. Stephen also joined Friends of Cheltenham Art Gallery & Museum UK.
In 2009 Stephen Sheppard returned to Arts and Crafts Company as MD, a company founded by Stephen in 2005 specialising in Arts and Crafts 1900 - 2000. Acheivements include introducing works of art to The Museum of Rural Life Reading UK and private collections worldwide. Stephen worked with BBC TV (Antiques) alongside Jonty Hearnden (Cash in the Attic) and joined Antiques are Green and NADFAS.
2010 begins with Arts and Crafts Company's inclusion in Britain Magazine, the official Travel, Culture, Heritage and Style magazine of Great Britain. Arts and Crafts Company also featured in London based weekly The Lady magazine in April 2010.
