Norman Reginald Baggaley was born in Staffordhire in the United Kingdom in 1937 and embarked for Australia in 1965, becoming an Art Educator and Dean of Arts at Prahran.
Norman Baggaley exhibited with The London Group in 1962 and The Grabowski Gallery, London in 1963. Exhibitions of his contemporary art followed in many Australian Galleries in Adelaide and Melbourne between the years 1972 and 1982.
In 1984 Norman Baggaley exhibited at Le Salon des Nations, Centre International D'Art Contemporain in Paris followed by exhibitions in Sydney, Adelaide Melbourne and the USA and exhibited as a member of The Australian Contemporary Art Society.
Norman Baggaley was awarded the ACUADS Fellowship Award in 1998 recognizing a distinguished career in development and management of a School of Arts and Design.
Collections include the R & I Bank Perth, Artbank, University of Adelaide and Ballarat CAE.
